Are teenagers nowadays more or less happy than their parents at the same age?

I think that teenagers nowadays are less happy than their parents at the same age, mainly because of the social media influence and the constant pressure being put on them. Teenagers these days spend so much time on the internet and this has a huge impact on them. They see all those influencers, that have perfect bodies, perfect life, but the thing is – it is all not real, it’s just created to look that way, but its fake. Teenagers however, believe it’s true and feel pressured to be perfect too. And this is the next reason – not only social media puts pressure on them, but also the school, the parents, friends and generally – the society. It’s hard to constantly be expected to do well in everything. Summing up, teenagers nowadays are less happy than teens few decades ago mainly because of the impact of the social media and the constant pressure being put on them.

Are animal rights respected in Poland?

I don’t think that animal rights are properly respected in Poland. In the eyes of the law, animal is a living creature that feels and can suffer and is not a thing, so it shouldn’t be treated as such. Even though animal rights are so clearly stated according to the Polish law, animal cruelty is still very common. For example even in the news, we often hear about people abandoning or torturing their pets. That’s because when people decide to buy an animal or give them as a present without thinking about it, that’s what can happen. People should be aware of the consequences of owning a pet before actually getting it. Summing up, I don’t think that animal rights are respected in Poland and we can find examples proving that point, e. g. in news.

Why are conspiracy theories so popular?

Conspiracy theories are quite popular and there are few reasons behind that. First of all, people don’t like things that they can’t understand, so they look for an explanation. Feeling that they understand something gives them sense of control, calms them. Another reason behind the popularity of conspiracy theories is the fact that people always look for some kind of pattern in everything. For example, humans tend to see faces; on 2001 people saw something looking like a face on Mars and they thought that it was a monumental architecture made by Martians and it turned out those were just ordinary rocks. Summing up, conspiracy theories are so popular, because people always look for an explanation of things that are hard to understand and another reason is that people tend to look for some kind of pattern in everything they see.
